With virtual reality's increased popularity, a major factor preventing  the wider adoption of virtual reality is simulator sickness. Simulator sickness is an effect, like that of motion sickness, in which users experience motion-sickness-like symptoms such as headaches, nausea and dizziness and is known to be caused by a sensory mismatch.
